If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

What's the scoop on the unverified strip at El Vado, NM, on the El Vado resevoir? Looks like the resevoir is surrounded by state park land.

Mike:

El Vado is closed. NMPA has been working with Fish and Game to consider reopening, but right now it remains closed.

Hope that helps.

MGH:

Your post was last year, so your questions may have been answered.

But if you haven't been to Negrito, you need to try it out. It is on the edge of the Gila Wilderness and close to Snow Lake. It is a gorgeous strip with really long runways (it even has a crosswind) and it is in a really pretty spot.

If you are interested, see our thread about the upcoming flyin there on 10/1.
