Re: Anybody Attending the AOPA Convention?

Check out palmspringsairmuseum.org

I was at Palms Springs Air Museum last month. The B-17 that I so dearly love is not flying. But, the P-51, and other WWII fighters are doing well and are still operational.

A little rant: AOPA is really hard to understand for me? "Money talks", I guess, but I don't need to listen!

Headed south in the morning, the wx is great. Probably stop in Truckee and hang with AKT for the day and continue to Bermuda Dunes/Palm Desert Tuesday.

You working Monday Tuesday Gump? I'll come say hi and buy us some chow.

Anybody Attending the AOPA Convention?

Plan changed: AKT got daddy duty. I'm at Bishop now. Got a few supplies. Headed to the Chicken Strip to do the hot springs and camp. Spot is on. Gun is loaded.

I think I'll head to the convention center and watch the planes at 10. Anyone want to meet for lunch?

I'm passing through El Paso (El Hellso) tonight. Will you be in Palm Springs anytime Sat? I'll give you a buzz Friday afternoon when I have a better idea when I'll be passing through that area on Sat.

DBI - I am happy to report that at least half of your request was recently honored. The AOPA Tornado Husky has just been relocated to Idaho (Caldwell - KEUL).

You can read up on its recent journey from Bartow, FL to Idaho at the Tornado Husky website.

Better than new
So it wasn't perfect the first time it left the factory? :D

If it's new home is Caldwell, I'll keep an eye out.
