Apparently they are selling the turf field material from two large football fields, in rolls. Something like 80 or 90 thousand square feet each (one in CA, one in CO).

So anyone who wants to put in a turf strip might be able to get this material at a very attractive price.

I don't know how much this turf costs, but I can give you an idea of its value... Just think of that soft, squishy feeling of your 31 inch Bushwheels settling in to this luxurious surface, hearing the individual blades brush against the tires, the engine ticking over to a stop as the wheels are still rolling, coming to a stop in front of your shady front porch, where your knockout wife is holding an ice cold beer next to her accidentally soaked and slightly undersize BCP T-shirt...

There is a long dirt/grass strip in Calhan CO that has this turf material over the first 1200 feet. I have been there a couple times, and it is a pretty cool feeling - Always smooth and always green too!

The obvious solution to the erosion concerns at some of the Frank strips!

The shipping costs alone , with Diesel @ 4 bucks a gallon would eat you alive just to get that turf to your location.
