It certainly looks well made. From the comments I suspect it cost a great deal of Euros. The only thing is near the end when he lands by sticking his feet out the bottom and runs to a stop…just looks away to Flintstones to me.

This thing can do wheel landings also. The archaeopherexexes or fucking whatever kraut thing a ma jig has a long legacy of previous foot launchable gliders dating back 20 years ago. The name is kraut but is of Swedish or Ikea design. all based on a carbon fiber d cell cantilevered wing spar design. Some of the early designs failed but like any new technology suffered teething pains. Judging by the video this thing has amazing great L/D and super slow launch speed. All at a premium cost of coarse.

Foot launched rigid wings have been popular for decades...at a cost of 2-3x what a high performance flex wing goes for. I got to make several flights on a Swift...around 15:1 (at around 50mph!) to 18:1 L/D (at 30mph), which is awfully nice, but with my weight, it also had only roughly a 130 fpm min sink, or perhaps a bit over 200 fpm while thermalling.
Cow farts were almost enough to stay up.

Dogpilot:
i was interested too until I saw the prices. You could be flying around in a really nice 180 for what those guys ask.
Really fun looking, but way too expensive for a toy that is only good for a few fun afternoons.
