Too bad about controllers getting laid off and other federal employees going to a 4 day work (and pay) week, but after 35 years in construction where lay-offs are just part of the game I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it. They'll be back on the job as soon as the elected officials quit fucking around and do their job and get the budget squared away. I know lots of construction guys (including me) who've been on extended lay-offs because of the poor economy, I was lucky enough to be able to just go ahead & take an early retirement but lots of the other guys don't have a happy ending in sight.
