Backcountry 182 2017 , most fun flying year so far.

Short review of flying in 2017, probably the most fun flying I have ever done since I started flying.
I wished I could have gone to Fly Sierra though, hoping for next year. :)

Sweet flying! Apparently no one told you that a nose dragger can't be a good backcountry airplane...

Keep the vids coming!

Great video, Dave.

I'll second the idea that 2017 was my best flying year, also. I made my first (of many more to come!) trip to the Idaho backcountry. I met a bunch of great new friends there. Hope to fly some in Utah and Nevada in the future too.

Nice video!!!! The more I look at your plane, the better I like it with the big tires.

Wonderful flying. I love your stuff because our planes are so similar and you really stretch my imagination's envelope.

You make me want to push harder and land more cool places. In time, I tell myself, in time.

10/10 on a beautifully filmed and edited video, very professional! I'll watch it again and again.

Where was that lovely grass strip in the second landing; the one you approach over the water?

Have you had the inversion we have been dealing with on the east side of the Cascades?

Hola José, Couldn't be done better! Kudos Wishing you and the family a very happy holiday season and a great 2018. I hope that I will fly up your way next summer and continue across the country.

The approach over water is Gower field, beautiful fun uphill strip near Olympia.

Inversion layer really crazy here, 3 days ago was flying at 8,500ft and the temp was 65 degrees up there, and in the 40s at sea level, never seen something like that before.
