This is a running topic of things that I do to upgrade the site. If something isn't working right, I may be in the middle of upgrading it, or I have broken something. Either way, I'll post about it here.

Ok I'm actually doing this today. Been having too many fake users sign up advertising for porn sites or whatever. The new version will require visual confirmation for registration.

Added PHOTO GALLERY links on everyone's profiles and posts so if somebody has a gallery, you can click straight to it and see their ugly mug!!

Issues with Internet Explorer...

I had an auto-redirect in place that wasn't working apparently in IE, and it got stuck on "Loading backcountry Pilot...". It worked in Firefox, so I didn't know it was a problem. Trashed that...

Added a links page with extended info for the links...just going the extra mile in case anybody cares. Just click on the top level "Links" link.

I'm in the middle of a photo gallery upgrade...things have not gone as smoothly as I thought they would. The gallery might look and work a little wacky for a few days while I get it straightened out.

I migrated to a new server last night, and everything appears to be running well. If you see any weirdness, let me know.

There has been some photo gallery weirdness. I have been testing and think I have fixed it all, but if it doesn't work right for you, drop me an email.

One issue that stand right now is when clicking on a thumbnail from the homepage, it takes you to the gallery and it appears as if you're not logged in any more. NOt sure why this is happening. Click on Login again and *voila* you're logged in.

I added a new page for viewing the most recently active topics in the forum, whether you've read them or not. In the main site menu, hover over the Forum link and click on View Latest Topics. It's pretty much like the Recent Forum Topics section on the homepage, but it shows all the topics in the database, so you're not just limited to 15. You can also sort it by number of views, number of replies, or Topic name, backward and forward.
