I started my flying in ultralights, traded up and trained for my GA ticket in a Jabiru powered X-Air, then finished building and flying an Avid 4 HH, flew off 200 hours in a Kitfox 4 and now I'm learning my new Escapade. Which was the perfect plane for yesterdays nearly perfect flying day.
We headed out of Nampa, ID to the West and the adventure included desert flying, canyons, water, beach landings and off field practice. My flying friends didn't need any practice, they just enjoyed finding cool places to land and we all enjoyed the scenery and serenity of the day. I would love a few more days like yesterday in the next couple of weeks! I'm just started posting, I'll add pics when I figure out the system.

Steve Henry's Highlander... if you are thinking of building or purchasing a back country aircraft, the Highlander should be at the top of the list. This exceptionally capable plane can do most anything, if short and rough strips are your style. My Escapade fits well on his wing.
