Been snowing all morning, so what the heck

I'm going over last winters' pics and printing some out for the hangar wall, these two show a couple places I dropped into, probably right after I was snowboarding up at the ski area. On the really good days, fresh powder in the AM boarding then clear and calm for flying later, it was easy to mix the two activities up, and I'd be thinking flying moves while boarding, and boarding moves while flying. I think that's what happened here! A couple times, when I was hiking out of the ski area and then boarding down to my place, I would cross tracks I had made the day before in the plane, sometimes the plane would be landing on a perfect unmarred slope except for one set of tracks, left by me earlier on my split board, it got confusing but sure was fun.

Yesterday was briefly clear-ish, and I made a brief flight over the ski area behind my place, sure enough I saw 3 different groups skinning their way to the top, it snowed about every day up there last week. Today is the big dump, down to my level at 5400'. This summer seemed short and cooler then normal but this next winter is looking good!

It all looks good, "from a distance".
