Re: Big Creek Lodge (ID)-Project

This is really cool! I saw the give to idaho signs all over McCall last weekend. The Big Creek lodge is really going to be fantastic for the area. Looking forward to taking my family there.

Re: Big Creek Lodge (ID)-Project

Colleen from the IAF sent me this flyer to post. Once again the IAF will be hosting a Saturday Morning breakfast at Big Creek to raise funds for the project. It would be wonderful for our group to attend and show support!

I want to underscore why the Big Creek Lodge is so important to the flying public. Big Creek will be the ONLY ‘for public use only’ lodge available for pilots in the Idaho backcountry. Every place we enjoy for breakfast, or an overnight stay is privately held—and can close to our use at any time. Mackay Bar is the most recent case in point…we may no longer land there. However, when Big Creek Lodge opens again, we MUST be open to the public as dictated by our USFS agreement.
