Black Mountain Utah - Video

After getting my starter put back on the aircraft, it was time for a test flight. No plans, no time constraints, just a fun afternoon flight with Adam and our friend John. We headed out over the north arm of the Salt Lake to check out the surface conditions at Black Mountain. Then back to OGD for a low pass over the dirt runway before landing.

The strip is a bit rough from the sheep that were on it earlier this spring but not too bad. No critters around it now.

Re: Black Mountain Utah - Video

I am just getting started with this Drift HD 1080 camera mounted under left wing . What kind of video editing program is everyone using ? I've got remote control to turn on and off - unit is capable of control and viewing thru Bluetooth ( any one know how to hook that up) I use a Motorola Xoom (android) in the airplane. Thinking of mounting on or in old rotating beacon unit on top of tail or under fuselage . :D

Thanks.

There are a few good threads on editing software as well as mounting. I'm using Magix, but there are others out there that are more "plug and play". It just depends on how much control you want on editing. Muvee is one that is very user friendly and does a good job.

Final Cut Pro X, great stuff. But it's professional quality software, so there will be a learning curve.
