Trigonometry? I guess I'm not the only one who finds it so damned depressing.

Should have gone with, "Trigonometry got you down?"

But I can't now, because I've been quoted. :)

Re: Blue Angles

Do you think the burley airport will be busy? Was thinking about flying down for my wife's triathlon but maybe I'll just drive.

Re: Blue Angels

No reason for this to make Burley busy. I went to the last air show at twin falls 4 years ago, there were less than 10 planes showed up for it that were not actually part of the airshow. Notam for the airshow says the airport is closed from 10:00-5:00 local both days, I plan on getting there before 8:30 tomorrow.

Just one more... Alcohol and trigonometry don't mix because one shouldn't drink and derive. [-X

Re: Blue Angels

Apparently Bart Simpson is a member of the Washington Air National Gaurd, the flight crew of the KC-135 on display at twin falls yesterday were giving tours of the inside of the plane, 3 of the crew members were wearing name tags claiming to be "Hugh Gass", "Mike Oxhard", and "Niel Enlikit", not exactly what most people consider appropriate [-X . The blue angels performed about 15 minutes of thier routine with 5 planes instead of 6, angel 5 aborted takeoff after about 500 feet and taxied to the spare plane #-o . Overall a very good day at the airport. The first time I have seen a twin Beech doing aerobatics =D> =D> .

Re: Blue Angels

The Thunderbirds were in town this past week for the Elmendorf (now know as JBER) airshow.

They definitely did not suck, yet it pains my little retired AF heart to say that I think the Blue Angels show is better. Here's a few from their 2010 airshow at Elmendorf . . .
