On a salmon survey near Chignik Lake, I counted 65 Brownies in one flight. One tried to "hide" from the Super Cub and spread out on the beach like a rug. It was pretty funny to watch. He thought if he was low, spread out chin in the sand.... we couldn't see him. Of course, I must admit I had been buzzing him pretty close. If the engine had quit... we probably would have been his lunch.

Flying is dangerous. If you think otherwise, you are new at this sport. Mind the gravity not the gap.
Its always nice to see them from the air, on the ground and up close is another story.
