BushWheel Notoriety??

In Ohio and eastern PA we are about the only guys with big tires. I was a little surprised to hear this story from my wife though.

Today my mother and I flew over to Washington, PA near Pittsburgh for Easter dinner with Deb's family. Deb was going to pick us up, but got to the airport early. Two guys were near by and one was a German. Deb said that when we flew into the pattern, the German got real excited. The other guy said, "hey, it is probably one of those OHIO BUSH PLANES guys." Deb shouts out "yep."

Re: BushWheel Notoriety??

I hope it's the Ohio Bush Planes guys every time I see big tires too, and I'm in Wyoming!

However, you don't want to corner the market completely. Leave room for just enough "other" big tire guys in Ohio so, if a big tire guy ever accidentally runs afoul of the rules and regs  , it will be the "other" guys who did it...
