Butler Ohio grass strip

Can one of our Ohio brethren help me with information about the grass strip in Butler? Is the airstrip open for public use? Do I need to call ahead for permission? If so, do any of you know who to contact? My daughter is at camp nearby and it would be much more convenient to drop into Butler to pick her up this weekend rather than going to Mansfield and renting a car again. Thanks in advance for any info you guys might have.

Re: Butler Ohio grass strip

Thank you for the response and your effort to help answer my inquiry. Unfortunately, the field I'm looking for information about is not on the chart so Foreflight, Airnav, and other such programs are of no help. I thought for sure I'd find the 411 in the shortfield database, but surprisingly there was nothing there either. I've found 1 or 2 mentions of the airstrip by searching the archives of this forum and even found a couple of YouTube videos, but the only pertinent info I've gathered is that I think it's called Swank Field. Hopefully one of the Ohio contingent will see this and come in. Thanks again.
