Buying bulk fuel

I am wanting to get a fuel jobber to service my private field... Anyone know what a minimum drop is? It'll just be me so I was thinking maybe a 500 gallon tank.

Re: Buying bulk fuel

Will likely depend on your supplier and the distance they will have to travel. We were looking to refuel on a jet boat trip last year and found a distributer that was willing to deliver fuel to the ramp, a 20 mile drive, but required we bought at least 200 gallons.

Trying to find out who the local FBO buys from - city run airport is only about 12nm away - about a 30 minute drive.

Re: Buying bulk fuel

in maine, minimum drop is 1500 gals, and you pay full trucking, truck carries 8-10,000 gallons so its best to get split loads and team up with other fields/fbos
