...remember, life is uncertain, eat desert first!

Sweet video! When I was student pilot I had to stop my training in Spokane, WA and go to Oklahoma for Flight Engineer school. I found an old crusty texan CFI and got a solo endorsement in an old beat up 150. I flew the crap out of that little thing with barely 30 hours total time. It was that summer I think I really learned to fly. That thing was old and tired. The headliner fell on you during touch and goes and once in a while it dropped a cylinder. One day I was out mid morning before I figured out that the wind turns on at about noon in SW Oklahoma like a switch. I didn't have GPS back then but I know the cars were smoking past me on the highway below. I didn't really know what else to do except try to get back to the airport. Luckily the wind was right down the pipe gusting to 28. I touched down at about 10 mph and stopped instantly. Turning off the runway was pretty scary. Knowing what I know now I probably would not even climb in that POS airplane and surely would not have flown it in 30 mph winds. Good times!!

That was absolutely hilarious. I laughed very hard internally. Greg's sense of humor is great.
