C206u Cargo door removal
Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

Are you flying jumpers? Or why do you need the doors off Pete?

There is a fairing that replaces the front half of the door, that sticks out a few inches. Supposedly prevents buffeting over the tail. I've flown a 206 with the fairing, and it was just noisy, but no ugliness.
I don't know where you would find a fairing, and I'm not sure one is "required". Good idea in any case.
Might give Cessna a call relative to requirements.

The fairing is just couple inch wide piece that is attached to the front cargo door pin hinges. Google u206 jump plane and a bunch of photos of what you are looking for will pop up . If I remember correctly I think the POH says that you need the deflector on there with the doors off . Makes a big difference with it on . I have flown with and without . Very easy to make .

On the U models there is a contact switch stops the flaps from coming down when the front clam shell door is open. The switch that needs to be either disconnected or a plate screwed into place that holds it closed when operating without doors, or, you can just have the camerman hold it when you need to use the flaps.

I placed a WANT add on dropzone.com in the classified aircraft section, asking if anyone had one lying around. An old friend of mine had one and shipped it to me for 100.00 bucks including shipping. They are very pricey, I got very lucky. Place a WANT add on Barnstormers and Dropzone.com, you'll find one.
