Hi,

Aft of the baggage compartment we noticed some white powdery substance on the interior of a lap seal.

If you wipe it away the factory zinc chromate is still in perfect condition which makes me think it could possibly be lap seal corrosion out of sight in the lap seal itself? No bubbly paint on the exterior of the lap seal.
