Good Day All,
I know there are many Canadian's that frequent the site, so i thought I would throw this question out.
Does anyone have any experience dealing with insurance providers that insure privately owned/flown aircraft that have multiple pilots flying (4-7 pilots) in Canada? We are in the process of renwing our insurance and want to shop around. We currently have full insurance (ground and in motion) and would be looking for the same. If anyone has any insight on this subject I would be more than happy to hear about it.
Cheers,

I was just talking with a friend about that, he is inshured through copa and said they wanted a way more with extra pilots when you aply but if you get the inshurance with just you in it it is easy to ad other pilots after and the rate doesent increase. I dont know if there were other factors involved but that is how it worked on his.

I'm insured with AIM through AON in Calgary and I've had no trouble adding pilots to the policy and have not been charged extra. I think your rate will be based on the pilot with the least experience. In my case that was me so adding pilots with more experience never cost me anything extra.
Cheers,
Andy

I think AIM, Avemco, or Copa are the main insurers in the Canadian Market, probably have to shop.
