Cape Blanco, OR camping

I'd like to camp around Floras Lake later this spring, nearest airport is Cape Blanco. Anybody have any details for parking/camping there. Any tie-downs? I'll try bring my mountain bike so that I'm semi-mobile, I hear there might be a good trail from the airport to the lake.

It's been quite a few years since I've been there. If I remember right, there are no runway lights, and no fuel. Did do some hiking, and there are lots of good trails, but bring warm clothes. It can be pretty cool on the coast just about any time of the year.

I've flown in there and biked over to the lake a few times. Trail was pretty good, but that was several years ago last time I was there. Trail takes off from the north end of the runway. There are some tie downs available. Watch out for poison oak along the trail. If you windsurf or kite surf, there is rental gear available at the lake, and Will that runs it is a great guy.

I landed there two years ago on my way to Powers fly in. Some pretty strong winds in the afternoons. I tied down to good looking chains and let the plane overnight while I stayed with friends in Port Orford. Really nice bit of the coast. Pretty sure you could camp at the airport with no problem, nothing there really. Powers is also nice, about 20 miles inland?
