Anyone close to Cashmere on here?

The Wx looks good for the weekend and flying north on Friday morning. Meeting with Dokmow on Friday in Oregon. Maybe Rob or Terry? Would lke to do some flying with you guys if anyone is around and check out your backyard. Friday is good. I have about all day. Saturday I need to be in Cashmere by 3pm for a wedding. Thinking about the Orcas Island fly-in on Sat or Sunday. Who knows what will really end up happening. Just looking for ideas...

Anyone have any good flying plans this weekend in the NW? Would like to pay you a visit.

Nice little airport. Been there a couple times. It slopes up to the west so generally land to the west, depart east if winds are favorable. Transient tie downs are at the SE corner. $5.00/night fee. Can't remember the code to the pilots lounge but you can call the airport manager.

Hey Kevin, I was going to go to Lenhardt 7S9 for coffee in the morning. I'll be there around 10AM. When and where are you meeting dokmow? I'll try to link up. I have a family commitment Friday night at Sunriver. We may have time to smoke some grass and get lunch.

Cheers...Rob

Grounded for one day. Leaving Saturday morning now..:( (It makes the wife happy)

Will be coming through the Oregon Area now on Sunday for certain. Will see if anyone wants to play. Thinking about the beaches I keep seeing you post Rob. Is that Seaside or Copalis?

Dokmo- Will be connecting with you for certain if it works for you.

Copalis State, S 16, is the sand beach airstrip. Just north of Grays Harbor about 10 NM. I'm going to Nehalem Bay Sat. night or Sunday. Forecast is for good weather. Family is having a campout at Nehalem Bay State Park, adjacent the airport. I'll stay tuned.

Hey Kevin, looks like I'll miss you this trip. I'll be in Sunriver with the family (keeps the wife happy) and the airplane. I'll try to get down your way before you head north.

Cheers...Rob

Copalis is the one you can land on the sand. Pacific City is where I go most of the time. KPFC 5 min walk to the water. Tons of good eats. Just an all around great place, my favorite fly in beach town by far.
