Dusty,
I just read your last post on the angry thread, sorry to hear about your flying situation, I'd be depressed all the time being on lock down like that.

I think Zane should change the thread name to "angry thread".

Yeah it blows pretty hard. You can still fly but someones always watching, the most frustrating part is that us little guys have nothing to do w/ the danger and the gov. is blatently using us as the scape goat to make everyone feel safe. But at least we can still fly and i always have someone to talk to in an emergency. :D

uggghhh! Got me! Nice one! :P

I just got back in my office from an hour of fun flying in my Maule. My dress shoes are muddy but there is a smile on my face. And the first thing I see is this post. The 170 is a great plane and I was thinking "Gee, that is not a bad choice"

Thanks for the chuckle!

Beer cans???? :?:

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Not the beer again. Isn't that how we wound up with this 3rd (or is it 4th) generation thread???

BTW, anybody notice it was our fearless leader that started the beer thread. Can we help it if, while winter weather has us grounded, we tend to let our imaginations run rampant? I guess Zane will be a bit more careful about the topics of threads. I mean anybody could see talking beer was going to lead to the Sierra Club... ;-)

Mark, you only have to look this far to find the real instigator:

Zane,

I know,,, your right.

BTW, I always loved that picture. Classic plane, backcountry strip, got his son with him, kicked back enjoying the blessings of being an aviator. Does it get any better?

HaHAHAHAHa!

I got suckered! Good One, Dusty! And then the double-whammy with the pics! Too bad that day the women stayed home, and dat be a Pepsi can in the chair-armrest-cupholder-thingy.

I felt kinda bad about inadvertently creating a such bruhaha. I'm feelin' the love again, fellas. (Except for all the potshots from the Maule guys! ) Thanks.

Real pilots fly airplanes built in Moultrie.
Real good pilots fly airplanes that are yellow and smell like poison.
