Cessna 180 Spinner Part Numbers
Lycoming, Continental, Hartzell, McCauley, or any broad spectrum drive system component used on multiple type.
I'm trying to identify the part numbers of the spinner and bulkhead that came with the prop I bought. They came off a C180G. Can anybody help me out?

There are two different spinners used with the McCauley C203 prop the long point Madonna spinner and the rounder Dolly Parton spinner. This is the Dolly spinner that I think is used on earlier 180/2s but I've found a few different backing plates that look the same but have different part numbers and all say they are for 180/182s.

That is 0752004. Pretty sure that part number covers the spinner and bulkhead as an assembly.
By the way, I think Corefile (Paul) is looking to buy one of those if you're looking to get rid of it.

I've got some p/n's from the 1961-1973 C10/185 IPC.
Spinner p/n 0752004-2, no airplane s/n's specified.
Matching bulkhead p/n 0752004-6 or 0752004 -7.
and
Spinner p/n 0752042-1 and bulkhead 0752041-1: airplane s/n 51775 (1967 180H) thru 52067 (1973 180H)
or
spinner p/n 0752042-5 and bulkhead p/n 0752041-3: airplane s/n 52068 (69 C180H) thru 52384 (73 C180J)
There's a handful of McCauley props listed, IPC isn't real clear on which spinner / bulkhead goes with which prop.

Thanks ASA and Hotrod.
I wanted to use this spinner on my BH but the backing plate won't work. I had hoped to find a different backing plate that would work but so far no dice. I'm going to look a bit more but figure i will be using a different spinner I already have.

Ok, I know this is an old thread, but I'm hitting an Internet wall on the stubby Cessna Spinner. I have a newly overhauled C201 that came with the Stubby Cessna Spinner but I don't have a forward bulkhead. So is there a fwd bulkhead on this spinner or am I looking for something that doesn't exist. I would love a parts diagram for the spinner, but I cant find much of anything on this one. Any help is appreciated.

My stubby spinner (get your mind out of the gutter), did not have a forward bulkhead. No signs of it ever having one.

My C201/203 spinner has a plastic "bulkhead" that slides down over the prop hub.
It does not actually fasten to the spinner, just a press fit.
There are spacers to insure that the spinner is a snug fit down against it when you get the screw holes in the backing plate aligned.
Just checked my McCauley 200 series operators manual--
installation instructions 2-5:
"install shims and plastic spinner shell support on propeller cylinder....".
I don't have a part number for this spinner shell support.
Just looked in my early-model IPC but don't see it.
A later model IPC for a year when the C201/203 might have been factory equipment might show it.

There you go, I knew I wasn't crazy. There had to be a forward bulkhead I would think. But some people say there is not. Hopefully someone can chime in here and offer up a drawing or even just a part number. My spinner on my C22 has a plastic bulkhead as well and it runs much smoother if I reset the spinner on the front bulkhead every 50-100 hours.
