Cessna 182 down at Lake Hood Strip
Debrief, share, and hopefully learn from the mistakes of others.
Looks like he kinda "missed" the runway and landed on the lake instead....

In wanting to be diplomatic, I worded that that way on purpose. I actually think he missed the strip altogether, but landed in the grass next to the strip? I was out there yesterday digging out my plane and I swear I saw them plowing the runway.
I would love to know the story, I went out there today to see if I could see where it happened, and the strip is totally clear.

Could it be a pre-programmed GPS thing gone wrong? It was dusk at the time, right?
