I think I spoke too soon.

It was carefully reassembled in accordance with the service manual, and it's better.. but still having issues with tight was under loads - does not seem to be a consistent speed that causes it.

Does anyone know anything else it could be or know any experts at this in the Seattle area that could take a second look?
