CFI needed

My wife is interested in getting her PPL and we are looking for a flight instructor close by. She would be learning in the 170 to help keep costs down. Any recommendations?

Check the 170 club??? IF they have one of their good old boys in the area, it would probably be a cost-saver on the insurance.

Herb Bishop... at Beckwourth airport in the Sierra Valley.... Got my tailwheel wih him in the 185. He knows how to fly a tailwheel for certain, and she could do a lot of it in the dirt.(even though that's cheating) He has lots of knowledge(530)832-6940... Nervino aero service

Thanks for the replies and PMs everyone. I think we may have found a CFI just a 10 or 15 minute flight away.
