This has been going around the world...the worrying thing is that otherwise sane aviators think it is genuine

This is the most viral flying-oriented video I've ever seen. I've received it from so many sources, it's crazy. Viral distribution is the purpose, of course.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
Boy, that video took me in! I couldn't believe that guy pulled that off! And he didn't! Dang! I don't get caught often but that one got me!

Here is the video without have to go to that page with all the pop-ups.
wow that was amazing!!

The first time I watched it I thought it was fake. I looks a lot a model the way the wing just falls off and how for the engine stops. but I really don't know.

Being fooled by a video that has been edited just reminds us " to believe half of what you see and none of what your hear. As for your worries over the sanity of other pilots I can't help you keep worrying

When I first saw this I thought I was seeing the worlds best piloting if not dumbest (for not bailing out), but then I thought, wait a minute.... people just don't land planes with one wing missing. And why does the video not show the missing wing side of plane after plane stops? Hmmmm..... And no news channel reporting to us the worlds greatest landing on TV?? Plus, they made "King Kong" look damn real in that last one. That settled it! FAKE!!! (but still cool)

if there was any doubt here is a video from AVweb that puts it all to rest.
