Checking In

Well guys Ive be rather absent for some time now, started a face book group to try and drum up a bit more interest in our little sport and thats gone kinda wild taking up just about all of my internet time. But Ive missed my favorite site on the net so I wanted to check in! Im all booked for HSF again this year so hope to catch up with alot of you there! Sadly Ive finaly had to part company with my beloved drifter that could, but the Storch is going great guns proving itself to be an incredibly capable off airport machine. Running the T3 tail wheel on it now (which Im madly in love with and will soon hopefully be sporting new big tyres and double caliper brakes. Been doing most of its flying around the clarence valley region of north NSW but also been doing a bit of goat mustering out around the red desert country to.

anyway thought Id share a little footage of the beasty and a few photos over the last 12 months of it in action.

looking forward to being a bit more active on the page again (I have been following but just lurking in the background) and getting a chance to meet some of the new members I havnt talked with yet!

Great video's, especially like the drone shots, good to see some footage from Oz too! Tough looking A/C, I saw one awhile back but never flying, looks super capable off airport!

Yeah she's as tough as all buggery, and the 15 knot stall makes for a bit of fun to!

It looks so nice there, but I know there's something lurking in that grass that would bite and kill me within 15 minutes.

Re: Checking In

Hey Tim,

If you come out to Flagstaff Again, be sure to check in. Take you up in a Caravan for a different experience this time. BTW, both my boys are in Brisbane, Ian is now an Aussie Citizen and Alex is just there hanging out with him, finished his hitch in the Navy.

Cheers!

New bird is awesome.

my plans this year for HSF are loose and Im actually trying to wiggle in coming over to flagstaff to say Gday but not sure if I can fit it in! does this mean thought we are likely to see you over here again? even if you cant come down to Byron I know Karla would love to come up and say Gday over dinner one night?

Re: Checking In

There's a chance, made it for a couple days last one, hard to take off that time of year between guiding season n spraying this summer again. Planning on flying in Utah with some buddies around that time, maybe we can meet up if not at HSF, depending on your schedule while in the US.
