Checking out BCP.org from 37,000 feet

After two great days flying the Sierra foothills & camping with my kids (another great visit to O22 - We had a 195 in the campground from Mojave Fri night, as well as 2 other skychickens and a Citabria that showed up yesterday) :D , I find myself loaded on a Southwest smoker/cattle car this early am headed to Orlando for a conference. Good news is that Southwest has their Wifi up and running, and for a mere $10 I can avoid a step toward the insane asylum as I expend these hours as an unhappy captive. Very cool. They won't allow VOIP or streaming, but it is good enough!

That is pretty cool! A co-worker buddy of mine IM'd me from a flight the other day, and said he had already tried video chatting over the connection, so whatever service provider that was does allow streaming. I think it was an American Airlines flight.

Cattle flights really would be 100 times more bearable if you could surf the web.

Just landed and back up on Verizon. Need to hit up my IT staff for a bigger or backup battery.

Skymaule: It is a water conference, I design treatment plants, pipelines, tanks and the like to feed my addiction for avgas combustion. For giving up half my weekend and productivity through the better part of the week ahead I schmooze with clients, check out the latest technologies, etc.

Zane: I haven't actually tried streaming any video or a phone call, their info card just said they would block anything requiring too much bandwidth, and used those activities as examples.
