Hopefully if all goes well I'll be checked out to fly this tomorrow
http://www.travisaeroclub.com/7891n.JPGIt's the Military version of the 172. Only real difference is it has 210HP! I haven't flown it yet but watching it take off it makes short work of our 2000 foot strip. They say it'll do 1500-2000fpm when your light. It should be fun to fly. I'll let you know how it was tomorrow after I get done.

A friend of mine flies a T41 with 210 horsepower & c/s prop. It is a good shortfield performer. Now, if you just take a club and knock off that hideous nosewheel........

Cessna Skywagon -- accept no substitute!
Checkout went good today. That thing is a great performer!! Also got my first taste of grass today which was a new experience for me. Had fun testing my soft field skills. Can't wait to fly it again!
