I'd keep making noise.

Different county, St Anthony is in Fremont County.

Judging by the 802's prop, nothing leaves without a beating. We're like hotel California, land anywhere you like but you can never leave. ( without stirring up a blizzard of little sharp rocks.)

Hopefully you guys get it all worked out. I don't even like that crap on the road. About the only time I've gotten a crack on the windshield, is from driving on a freshly chip sealed road.

They chip seal a lot of county roads around here and done right, you end up with a pretty good surface. It takes a while for the chips & sealer to bond or whatever, until it does I wouldn't care to spin the prop up much on it.

Every state has a bureau of aeronautics. They are the overseeing body above your local airport commission.

If you truly feel strongly about stopping this practice on your airport contact them for their input.

Probably can resolve this one issue, but I'll always be the square. Started shopping options today, if I can do it gracefully, I'm going to pack it up and move the plane back to Driggs. If anyone wants to make a go at an FBO in a pretty cool part of Idaho, PM me. Make sure the cultural statistics of Madison/Fremont county suit you before you do.

Re: Chip sealing an airport

Since I run a chip laydown machine I will jump in here. If done right and SWEPT off there should be very little or no loose chips on the surface. The mess you showed pics of was most definitely not done right. If it is an airport used by jets or in a runup area it should have a sand seal put on over the chips, then all is smooth and clean.

I can't help with dealing with the people.
