land and take off, land and take off. Another airstrip "bagged". Sigh. I will say that most people I know tend to open their cowl flaps for high power/low airspeed operations. Maybe it was really cold.

I've had 3 of those old 180's like that with the big cowl flaps. The ones I had never opened nearly as wide as the smaller ones on the newer Cessnas. I believe they are open.

Those were nice landings done by someone who is no doubt "on top of" his 180.

The plane is a 1953 or 54. Same style induction and exhaust as my 53 180. I agree with BG and add that the cowls are definitely open. Plus he has installed Alphin cowl louvers. Enough on that and back to the video! This guy is definitely dialed into his plane and Mile High. Bravo.
