The article says that a powerline was down nearby and that the parachute was in some powerlines as well. Also, the plane was being moved through the field by high winds. While there aren't many additional details, I assumed the plane came in through some powerlines so I would expect a little more damage then if it landed in the open field.

In fact, now that I look at the photo again, it appears that the plane may have actually been blown over that fence?
