WTF, do I need delete it? Did I break some kind of electronic BCP.org protocol? It was a cool video of a Citation Jet departing Cavanaugh Bay located on Priest Lake. Sorry I'm not a computer type. I am a product of the "New Math" from the 60s that didn't work.

A gravel kit was an option for the older 500 series Citations so, no problem legally as far as that goes.

No, I was just being a half-fast comedian with your earlier attempt to post. I don't do 'computer' even that well, myself.
I 'liked' (see fb :) ) the video.....

Sorry indeed....

Years ago, I remember watching a 737 doing touch and goes on a 4000' grass strip. Now that was impressive.

Re: Citation Jet @ Cavanaugh Bay, ID "Grass Strip"

Years ago, Wein was flying 737-200 into and out of McGrath everyday :D , I think it was 3400' and grave :^o l, Didn't think to much about it at the time, seemed kinda normal!! Just had to make sure your feet were up off the floor as everything on the floor moved forward with authority!!
They went into lots of gravel strips as that was all there was, Had a fancy gravel diverter on the nose gear, if I remember right it used air to blow the gravel back down instead of up towards the engine intakes?? #-o

Used to take our Citation II (with a Bramson mod) N100CX into a dirt road, every day for 2 years in Somalia. We had the gravel kit and it performed quite well, better than a King Air would, without the associated prop erosion. Reeves Aleutian Airways operated 737's out of Dutch Harbor for years on the gravel. Did have an issue one, where they slid off the runway. Hurt the plane, but nothing else. Grass would have been nice, but it really sucks when grass is wet and your fast.

Wow!! The noise from that plane has got to piss off some of your hunting buddy's! Does this plane fit into the "Tread Lightly" or "Tread Quietly" category?

Reeve never operated 737's. Mark Air 737 had an incident at Dutch Harbor in the 80's.

If your buddies are hunting in July, they better be the quiet ones.
