Gulp! What the heck kind of plane is that with the push me pull you props and the helicopter-like cockpit? The pilot had a good view as they went over the edge!

I've seen that machine in Aurora Oregon before. It is a custom built machine. Pretty gutsy!

I looked through all the stuff on this site as well as the Super Cub site and there doesn't seem to be much new development on the DoubleEnder... Too bad; looks like a neat concept.

At 1400 lbs empty the DE probably NEEDS two engines....all that plexiglas is heavy I guess. :shock: And.... I'd like to see where it landed, before the takeoff shown, all that weight can't help on short final.

While a great vid, more then just that, it illustrates some real twisted thinking flying wise =D> :twisted: I mean that as a compliment.

Damn! I guess adding an engine doesn't exactly help the empty weight. Are they both O-320s? What's that account for? 280 lbs with prop?
