Cloudbase Engineering Website Launch Today with BCP discount

Hello All,

I have been a bit distant from this site lately due to being too busy with work to fly and contribute much or to busy due to working on my website. Anyhow, after a long few months, I am launching it now and BCP is the first to know.

For those who do not know me, I have been selling action camera strut mounts to this group and others specifically designed for aviation. They are all CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and black anodized for corrosion protection. Rather then write about them here, all the info is on the site. Please visit https://www.cloudbaseengineering.com/

For those that decide to buy, at checkout there is a coupon code for BCP members that will get you $10 off each mount and free shipping with no limit on to how many are purchased. The code is: BCP10 The code expires 01/04/16

Since this is my first foray into web development. Please feel free to critique the site. Its not perfect by any means, but good enough for now and I will add more content, upload more videos and pics as I get them. Many of the pics are stock images from the internet and if for some reason I have a pic of your personal aircraft with tail number let me know and I will change it if you prefer.

I plan to also set up a tips and tricks page as well for those just getting into filming their flights.

Also please send any feedback to my personal email: [email protected]

Best regards and happy holidays,

Marc Webster

Nice, I'll contact you!! Especially since yesterday there was a guy wandering around my airport wanting to know who owns the GoPro found on the runway with the broken cheap mount.

I have been using Marc's mount for over a year now and can say its the most solid mount available hands down. Marc works in the motion picture biz and brings that quality to his work. I have used most all camera mounts from pro-sumer to the highest end motion camera equipment and his stuff is top shelf.

If you enjoy shooting video, I urge you to grab a mount... Only thing I'm bummed about is not to see some of the kick ass product pics I shot for you Marc!

Gratuitous plug over.

Thanks for the kind words BigRenna,

This has been a crazy journey to get this far. I still have much to do and plan to build a page that showcases the mount a bit better with more info and plan to use the pics you shot. I wanted to use the one with all the parts laid out, but I now include another part that is not shown. I may just still use it and mention the missing vibration isolator.

I just watched a few of your videos on your site and they look great. Glad to see your plane in the air. I may have to order one of your shirts as I am always looking for good aviation related shirts.

Take care,

Marc

I too have been using Marc's stuff. We have used just about everything on many different planes. That includes some really custom stuff. His mounts surpass all of it, allowing us to do more air to air since there isn't "jelly roll". We used to not do any air to air stuff, but now it is integral in all the stuff we do. In fact we are ordering some cessna mounts today to continue on with the STOL Tips series. Check out the air to air stuff here if you are interested in what his mounts can do!

No jelly is all I want.

Patrick's recommendation is all I need.

Ordered...

Mark sent me some to use but alas I have not had a chance to try them out, purely because my gopro won't fit back in my waterproof case since doing the Backbone mod.

They're very well made. I need to pick up a new action camera and give it a try.

Hello All,

There is still time to get one of my mounts in time for Christmas. I have all versions in stock and I think if shipped by 12/21 it will arrive in time.

Take care,

Marc
