It's gotten cold up here in the Pacific NW. And boy, howdy, do these airplanes like it! (provided you can get them started...)

Going to fly tonight to finish up my exception for no night flight on my private pilot. Pretty funny that I've logged 235 hours of NVGs in the darkest area of the planet during the last 5 months and I have to do laps around the pattern at Fairbanks for 1.5 to finish my qualification to fly the plane. I'm scared of the chill during the preflight.

By the way, your bound to hear from some boys here in them colder states when you remark on how cold it is right now in WA. When it warms up to 20F in places like Fairbanks, they break out the lawn chairs and beer.
