CompSci Flys

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Thank you Denny! I'm loving the Bushwheels, I don't think I'll ever want to put those Air Hawks back on. If I don't get skis this year, I may have to end up putting them on for winter though. Will know more once I figure out what to do with my gear. I need to change out the bungees soon, I've been told it's quite a finicky process with the -12 gear. And that the -18 gear is better for skis, lending more cushion. So I may end up converting after the summer's over if I can't get a quick/cheap bungee change for the -12.

I love Talkeetna and the village strip. Good memories there. And yeah, Mountain High is great.

Wish I was in your shoes!

Re: CompSci Flys

Had a fun time in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Weather wasn't great, but it's Alaska. I was able to get a good 15 hours of flying in over the span of 2 days.

Rachael and I flew over to Skwentna for the first time this last weekend. We enjoyed dinner at the Skwentna Roadhouse, we had a lovely pizza, with a helping of mosquitos haha.

@DENNY I think I saw a picture of your plane in there! You need to put your signature on that bad boy.

Re: CompSci Flys

I flew to Whittier, AK for some lunch. This was my first time landing in Whittier. While I was there, a boat started exploding and caught fire, ended up sinking.

Thank you!! It is a lot of work to make the videos, but I enjoy the end result. It's nice to have more than just a memory of adventures like these.
