http://www.eaa.org/lightplaneworld/arti ... dstick.aspI've flown with Steve as several of you here have and it was probably the funniest flying day I've ever had. Steve showed me the in and outs of the Big Creek drainage. Without his calm reassuring voice on the radio that day I'm not sure I would have gotten up the balls to try Vines and Dewey. Congrats on being a celebrity for doing something you love!

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
I met Steve and his wife in July at Oshkosh with their Highlander. Very nice folks and definately the real deal in the sky.
I'm a little miffed with him though as I just pee'd my pants watching that segment starting at 1:38 on his teaser video! Don't scare me like that!

Altitude is Time…. Airspeed is Life!
Congrats on the article Steve, well deserved. At OshKosh Steve had a shirt on that said "I'm that guy!". I've been a couple of conversations with other pilots where someone mentions seeing a video of a nutjob that rolls off of a cliff with the engine off, I've been proud to mention "I know that guy!"
