Excellent! Good to see some flying happening in my home country. Around Stockholm where I grew up things seem pretty grim for GA these days. Where in Sweden are you?

Same question, where are you based and how is Sweden for backcountry flying and GA in general? Would love to fly there someday.
Love Scandinavia, travelled around there a lot on the ground and on water.

Sweet! I purchased a set of Full Lotus floats for my RANS S-7 but never had the time to get them mounted. Your video is good incentive for me to try and get them mounted soon.

Hi, I'm located in Dalarna Country, close to the city of Rättvik.
GA in Sweden has been decreasing since 30 years back, nowadays duty to rising fuel taxes.
But there is almost no restrictions for seaplane operations in most part of Sweden.

Ah, Dalarna, with the little red horses :) I have paddled many of the lakes there... beautiful place!

Yes, little red horses, and little red houses; my seaplane base, and home.

Re: Converted to iced lakes

That's super cool. I like the look/construction of the Full Lotus. It appears the hull shape on them is much flatter with not much keel. Does that have any kind of skidding effect? Probably makes them great for skiing, though I'd be worried about the pitching moment in deeper snow from the height of the float rigging.

Those are some funky looking skis, mine are much smaller. But when I water ski with them I keep my speed up!
I've always liked the Full Lotus concept, but have to ask: do you also hAve dedicated snow skis? Or just the FL floats for winter ops?

Courierguy: No need. Use the same floats the year around.
