Cool little trip for a great meal and some MTB...

Hey guys... So I flew in to Paonia, Co (7V2, North Fork Valley - http://www.airnav.com/airport/7V2 ) a couple days ago and I have to say its an awesome little airport. The manager (Mike - 970-260-2138) is a great guy and will make sure you have a hangar and wheels. There is incredible food (the Living Farm Restaurant) and great mountain biking right out of town.

The airport sits on a mesa and has 60 degree cliffs on all sides. It's just plain cool to think someone had the idea to build an airport in such a cool location. It's not a hard airport to land, the runway is 4,500 and in good shape. I flew the RV-7a in there.

Thought I'd pass it along, it's a gem!

FYI you can get it for $4.29 at home base if you take advantage of the pre-pay trick. ;)
