Copy of "Tundra Tire Worksheet"?

Anybody got a PDF of the worksheet they could share? I tried to find one on the internet but did not have success. I know I found it once about a year ago but can't find it again. I'd like to look at the procedure on the worksheet so I can decide what tires I think will work. I think the limiting factor is going to be the mechanical GY brakes that aren't good for much.

Thanks

worksheet

I may have a blank copy I could fax or mail you if you cant track one down. I will have to dig through my 180 paperwork and see if it is still there. Let me know if you cant find one on the web.

Jeremy Aimsworth at www.maules.com does. I can also send you one by fax if Jeremy can't, but mine will be a fax of a fax if that's OK.
And yes the brakes may be an issue.

Good morning Pete, you can find a copy of the work sheet on this web site at, Photo Gallery>Home>Miscellaneous>Resource file 12/12. I think this is the standard work sheet that first came from the ANC FSDO. See ya,

Well Hello there Tim!

Thank You for the info. Pete from Alaska also sent me some information. While festering in a hotel this weekend and searching for information, I may have an update.
The worksheet is referenced in AC 23. 733-1 looks like it has been cancelled and superceeded by AC 23-17b. This has a few pages on tundra tires. After all is said and done it looks to my uneducated eyes that if the installation is not on the TC, you must now have an STC?!!!
Only outlaws will have oversize tires???

Someone please correct me on this.

Which tailwheel conversion STC does your airplane have? maybe there's a way to get ahold of the STC holder & have them issue a letter stating that 850X6 mains are approved under the STC? FWIW Harry Dellicker in Porterville California (DelAir) holds the "texas" t/w stc formerly held by ACT.
What year is your 150? Mines a 1964 D model. I kinda lucked out- in it's checkered past, mine has had both 850x6's & 26" Goodyears signed off as approved, although I'm only running 800x6's now.

You can still get field approvals for oversized tires... just got 2 for a couple Tcrafts within the last couple months. It's got alot to do with your relationship with the FSDO and PMI. If you can't find the checklists and worksheets, I've got copies of what I just used..

God put me here to accomplish a certain amount of things...right now I'm so far behind, I'll never die!!

Hi Eric, This 150 has the bolen STC that I believe is now owned by Bush. No mention of larger tires in the STC. I'd like to use 8.50 x 6.00 tires. I'll try contacting a couple FSDO offices to see if they can offer any help (hehe).

John,
If its not too much trouble for you I would love to have copies of your paperwork! That would be great info/ammo for the IA that helps me to work with the officials here. Maybe he could get the guys at the MT FSDO to help us. Thank You!

Thanks for posting the worksheet.
No doubt will prove invaluable for those seeking a field approval.
I assume that it wouldn't be required for tires which are STC'd.
