Not much snow out there. I have not looked at the cam lately but you could probably land there on wheels.

I always thought it would be fun to land at a ski area, Jump out and take a pic and get out of there. Do it on a closed day at the top of the mtn. on a groomed run. I have my eye on Lost trail Powder Mtn.

I thought the same about the snow depth but given Courier guy has his skis on AND he lives semi close he could go burn a lap and at least give me something to look at. Betting theres about 4-6 inches on the runway. His skis would be fun there.

Kevin,
Screw JC, I got bigger fish to fry/tracks to make! (see the ski flying forum, you're gonna love this one). Actually, I might make it over to JC at some point, (about 3 hrs), maybe on the way to Warren, and I want to try a winter camp out at Chamberlain Basin in one of the little cabins there (woodstove etc. I ain't staying in no tent....) I'm just getting my head wrapped around the fact that longer cross country flights in a ski plane may be a fun thing, (dual cabin heaters using the traditional heat muff and now also using the hot water from the Rotax have helped) so far I've gotten it back in the home hangar every night. I clicked on that JC camera last night, and stupidly waited for it to start working, eventually I realized it was night there also. #-o
