Sitting here stuffed into a 700 for an hour on the Vancouver ramp because they can't start the right engine. WTF? Flight was over an hour late getting here so I'm screwed catching connecting flights. I knew I should have flown myself up here! I might not have made home any quicker but I wouldn't be held captive in this f'ing can!

Engine starter sheared a pin. This jet isn't going anywhere for some time. If I'm going to be stuck, this beats a lot of other places. Just glad to be out the thing.

That sucks Mike!
At least you're not stuck RIGHT before Christmas... I guess it could be worse.

Cmon now, the CRJ700 is not that bad that it's worth booking around. Now the CRJ50, CRJ100, CRJ200? They're another story. However the CRJ700, once seated, generally offers all the same seating space as a 737.
I'd prefer the CRJ900 as it's just a bit quiter, but otherwise the larger regional jets are not that bad.
