My mechanic is in the process of putting the CC 3X3 gear and AOSS system on my Husky. I should be testing it by the middle of the week. The gear is from Airframes Alaska. (But I don't think that I will be able to land in 69 feet unless it is going up the top of a mountain.)
This landing requires coming in aimed straight at the trees in back, with the gear in between the two big lava boulders right before touchdown and with the right wing tip close to the tree in front, the only good thing about it: it is a 1/4 mile from my shop so don't have far to haul the wreckage courierguy wrote:
I have been working on landing this site from a 90 degree turn on final, this vid shows it at about 120 degree final. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vWj-PWENbc

After watching and re-watching the video a few times, did he bend the pilots side gear leg?
You also get the Oh Shit from the camera man and the pilot is waving his arms in the cockpit as if he is done or does not want it filmed anymore...
Looks as though he did maybe bend it...hmmm.....now I am curious
