With that in mind I flew from my home base of Portsmouth New Hampshire to Stonington Maine.

Heading further Northeast over Pemaquid, Port Clyde, Rockland, and Islesboro Maine.

Spotted this beauty getting ready to leave for points south.
After riding on the scenic roads of Stonington to the wharf (3 miles) I found what I had come for.

And what Maine town would be complete without its own Opera House.
After milling around town I rode the three miles back to the Stonington airport to head home.
There are over 3000 offshore islands in Maine.

And I continued further south until I arrived back home in Portsmouth New Hampshire.
