Dean and Delverna are truly awesome people and love airplanes stopping in. If you're going to camp, they ask that you just phone ahead to let them know, especially for groups. They occasionally will rent the picnic area out to non-aviation groups so it's good to avoid a conflict. Friendly interactions and spending a few minutes shooting the breeze with them, and thanking them goes a long way toward continued fun there.
