Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

DC-3 Father/Son Transcontinental Flight

This is a really cool trip report. A father and son ferry a DC-3 from Plattsburgh, NY to Everett, WA. It's full of good photos and video. I think these guys happen to be part of a pretty well known lineage as well.

Okay, what's with the goof-ball extended nose and weird GEAR DOORS! Was this some obscure variant of unbeknownst number and origin? :? Some airline's chief of maintenance's ideas brought to life?
