Must have got ugly! I'm not really into gossip, but curious to what happened, too. Maybe better not to know and move on.

I'd say that he presented a little more info than I would be comfortable disclosing in his situation...

Talk about a lively thread though!

No wonder Clouddancer wears the grocery bag over his head. Maybe we should have some bags made up with the BCP logo. Everyone needs the bag, some time. Just a thought.

I'm sure he did, and then some rat went squealing. Takes all kinds I suppose.

And Bumper you're right. The Duke would never do such a thing, and neither would Gus or Capt'n Call. There's some real poor excuses for men in this country now.

Yes the feds were called from someone here on the forum possibly, maybe elsewhere. It doesnt really matter. I was not hiding from anyone, as if I could anyhow, and a lot of people were there to help. Thankfully!

Anyhow, I never really intended to hide from anything. Thats obvious from my posts as I figured it was an incident giving me ten days to do the right thing and report it. Posting it here, all of the eyes everywhere else, my intention was to report it as an incident.

Well needless to say....not everyone is content with the guy who tries to do the right thing and share his experience. So they instead have nothing better to do with there very own lives and decide to report it for me...

THANKS FOR THAT! You know who you are....

Anyhow, foreveryone else, I will report my experience with the feds so that the next time you have to do a fix and need to talk with the Feds you will be prepared. Lets hope.

It really is a shame you call yourself a backcountry pilot if you post on this form and cannot understand what we did with our fix and then decide to go and report it for me!

I can assure you, thats totally not cool and karma will catch up to you!

I concur on all counts!

Is there any way we can install a Wanker filter on this forum. Nobody should be learning anything from them anyway!

I really don't know what to say ! I am disgusted that this has happened and I'm not sure I can be a kind as you and let karma handle the situation.

If there is anything we can do, do not hesitate to ask.

As jmtgt mentioned earlier, had I had the choice of safely flying a plane, with a field repair, out of a remote area or letting it be disassembled with the wings tied on top of a van and bounced over logging roads for who knows how many miles, I would fly it out, if I ever planned on it being a viable aircraft again.

This just stinks and if possible, I want everyone in the aviation community to know who the jackass rat is... :x

Never met the guy, but I doubt it. He comes off as the type that would jump up in you face, but not behind your back.
I wonder what purpose the Narc thought they were serving? I believe in what goes around, comes around.

Holy shite, what a low blow to Aktahoe. I can't say that I would have made the same decisions he did in that example, but that is more a function of personal risk threshold and experience in that environment. To dime a guy out for busting rules that had, at best, limited potential of harming anyone else is pretty weak.

Tito,

The thread had split topics and a moderator separated the two threads. Nothing that you did caused that it was just that your post was a good place to separate the two.

If you aren't confused yet,,, just let me explain further...

Do tell. Want a shock? Google "AKTAHOE1" and see what comes up. Kevin.

If you aren't prepared to share with the world (including the Feds) everything you write on here, don't write it. A lesson I just learned myself recently...

The web spiders crawl all up and down this forum.

BTW it wasn't me

Who came up with the creative title to the thread? Are the moderators janitors or the guy with the pitchfork leading the mob? 8)

Its over for now.

You are absolutly correct about what you post is what you get.

My fault

Tough love, perhaps? we all need it.

I just think it is a bit disingenuous to see all this secret squirrel gossip BS and railroading of not one but now two members over something that Akahoe1 decided - as an adult - to put out in front of all the world. I guess the thread title just rubbed me wrong mostly. Especially when it was authored by someone who I assume should know better.
